Process

This option is for clients who are ready to print a proof of their book. Please check that the details on your corresponding estimate are correct as these specifications will be used by our production team. If you do not have an estimate, please request one here before ordering a proof.

We use the same press and paper stocks for proofing as we do for the final production, this means that your proof will be an excellent guide for any color correction or adjustments that need to be made. We retain a copy of each proof for 30 days after proofing to use as a guide in the final production to ensure the prints are reproducing as you intend.

File Submission

After you’ve completed your proof purchase you will receive a confirmation email with a link to a secure page on our website to upload your files. Please allow 1-2 business days for us to review your files and follow up via email to confirm if they are formatted correctly or if we require an update before moving to press.

Once we’ve confirmed your files are press-ready, the production lead-time until your proof ships is 10 business days. Once your proof ships, you will receive a separate email with tracking.

Custom Production

Please note that all cover proofs are un-laminated unless specifically requested by the client (additional charges apply). Letterpress, foil stamp, and duplexed elements are not proofed. If you require proofs for these elements, additional production times and set up fees will apply.

Terms and Conditions

Proofs will receive a one-time $25 credit on the final invoice if a final book order is made! Limit one proof credit per project.

The proof purchase is non-refundable. Files must be sent within 30 days of purchase.
